What you get
- Where you rank for the search that matters for your trade and town, checked from your town the way a customer would see it.
- Who’s above you, with their review counts, so you can see whether the gap is reviews or something else.
- The settings I’d change first, in order. Usually it’s the primary category, the phone number, the services list or the website link.
- The website check: does the first screen say what you do and where, and is the phone number one tap away.
- An honest verdict. If you’re already in the top three, I’ll say you need upkeep, not a fix. If I think the search you want is a stretch, I’ll say which one I’d go after first.
How I check
I search your trade plus your town, signed out, from inside your town, and read the map results the way a customer would. Then I open your listing and go down the same list I use for every client: category, phone, name, address, services, description, hours, photos, posts. Then your website’s first screen on a phone. It takes me about an hour. You get the page by email within two days, Monday to Saturday.
What it isn’t
It isn’t a sales call; there’s no call unless you want one. It isn’t a generic report; every line is about your listing. And it doesn’t commit you to anything. Plenty of owners take the page and make the two or three changes themselves. That’s fine with me.
