Google posts and photos for your listing, from real jobs, every week
An active listing with real photos of real jobs beats a bare one. On the monthly plan I post for you every week from the photos your crew already takes on their phones.
What a post is
Your Google listing has a feed most owners never use. A post is a short update with a photo and a button: “Finished a 180-foot privacy fence in Great Bridge this week,” picture of the fence, button to request a quote. Google lets a post run to 1,500 characters; the good ones use a tenth of that. Posts show on your listing when someone taps it, and they tell Google the listing is run by a living person.
What photos do
Customers look at the photos before they read a word. A listing with a logo and one stock image of a generic crew looks like it might be out of business. Twelve photos of your actual work, in the towns you serve, with the newest from this month, look like a company that’s busy right now. Google’s rules say the same thing: photos should be yours, of your business and your work. I don’t use stock images or AI-generated pictures, and I don’t tag photos with locations they weren’t taken at. Both are against the rules, and neither one fools anybody for long.
The weekly routine
- Your crew sends me two to four phone photos from each job, and the town it was in. That’s the whole ask. No staging, no editing. A finished patio, a truck in a driveway, a before-and-after.
- I write the post. What the job was, where it was, what the customer wanted solved. Two or three sentences in your voice. For the first few I send them to you first; after that I run them and you see them in the monthly report.
- I post it and add the photos to the listing under the right category, with the town in the description.
- Once a month I look at which photos Google is showing first and tell you what kind of shot to take more of.
What I won’t post
Anything that isn’t true. No “rated number one in Hampton Roads” unless someone actually rated you that. No offers you haven’t agreed to honor. No made-up customer stories. If a post needs a fact I don’t have, I ask you first.
Price
Posts and photos are part of the $500-a-month plan, along with the review flow, listing upkeep and the monthly video report. Month to month, and you can stop any time. During the setup, I load the listing with the photos you already have and write the first posts so it doesn’t start empty.
